Drew Scott
Keske — Impact Operator, Land Stewardship & Regen Ag

Impact Operator · Land Stewardship · Regen Ag · Food Systems

Building systems that connect people, land, and community.

Drew Keske

About

The shape of the work.

Impact operator building systems that connect people, land, and community. A decade across nonprofit development, regenerative agriculture, ranch and market-garden management, event production, and field operations — now converging on land stewardship and conservation. Pairs hands-on field and farm work with a proven record in fundraising, program operations, and venture design, turning strategy into shipped, working systems.

Equal parts operator and writer. Comfortable on a tractor, in a spreadsheet, or in front of a room. Off the clock: disc golf, biking, climbing, hiking, music, cooking, and the long game of reading and writing.

Experience

A decade of intentional breadth.

From ranch hand to ranch manager, market garden to development office, foreman to field operator — not a founder yet, but a builder for sure (see the projects). Each role chosen for the rep it adds.

Role Fit

What I’m built for.

Eight role lanes drawn from the full picture — a decade of experience, fourteen skills, and a portfolio of shipped projects. Each lane is backed by direct reps, not aspiration.

Development · Philanthropy · Partnerships

Strong fit

Development manager · Major gifts · Partnerships lead

Nearly a decade across four mission-driven orgs building donor pipelines, corporate partnerships, and the systems behind them — most recently standing up development infrastructure from scratch and producing a 200+ person flagship event.

Program & Operations Management

Strong fit

Program manager · Operations manager · Program coordinator

Comfortable owning budgets, KPIs, vendors, and small teams end-to-end. Built scalable ops systems, ran a $250K event series, and restructured field operations for a 10-person crew — the same muscle program roles need.

Education · Outreach · Community Engagement

Strong fit

Education coordinator · Outreach manager · Community engagement

Four years guest-lecturing on sustainability and social entrepreneurship, plus a portfolio of curriculum-shaped tools (Learning Library, Wisdom Library, Life of Notes I & II). Teaching, facilitation, and curriculum design are core, not adjacent.

Food Systems & Food Access

Strong fit

Food & farm business mgr · Farm-to-market · Food-hub roles

Hands-on across the whole chain: market-garden production, CSA harvest and distribution, plus Groundworks — a self-built venture thinking explicitly about local food infrastructure.

Conservation Grazing & Working Lands

Strong fit

Conservation grazing associate · Working lands coordinator

Eleven seasons on a working cattle ranch plus a year managing it — livestock, pasture, infrastructure — paired with the Ranch Mgmt Master Workbook built around exactly this kind of work.

Land Stewardship

Strong fit

Stewardship associate → manager · Land steward

One of the strongest lanes: eleven seasons plus a year managing a working cattle ranch, current organic no-till production, infrastructure repair, and time outside in every season — backed by the Ranch Mgmt and Market Garden Master Workbooks built around exactly this work. GIS and easement transactions are the explicit 1–2 year build on top.

Farm · Market-Garden · Ag Operations

Strong fit

Farm manager · Market-garden manager · Production lead

Most directly evidenced — managed a 3-person market-garden team from seed to sale and currently running organic no-till production. The Market Garden Master Workbook captures the same systems thinking applied to the craft.

Customer Success Management

Strong fit

Customer success manager · Account manager · Onboarding & retention lead

Built for relationship-driven, outcomes-focused roles: Classy.org top performer (sales + retention), Surv field-ops restructured around recurring revenue and retention, nonprofit donor and corporate-partner cultivation, plus 8 HubSpot certifications. Naturally pairs consultative communication with systems thinking — turning customer goals into shipped, measurable outcomes.
